Objective Inclusive Careers Fair was started in 2019 as a Signature Event of Pink Fest, a month-long festival taking place during the global Pride Month of June. The goal is to facilitate connections between employers and diverse talent, including LGBTQIA+, persons with disabilities (PwDs), neurodivergent individuals, racial/ethnic minorities, women and other underrepresented groups in Singapore. We picked up the mantle of organising Inclusive Careers Fair in 2024 and 2025. Over two years, we are proud to have shaped the growth and success of this important platform with our partners and collaborators. We aim to continue to develop and grow the platform to reach more employers and jobseekers so that more workplaces and talent can prioritise inclusion and diversity as core values.
Solution We leveraged strategic partnerships and sponsor engagement, and delivered an integrated marketing approach that incorporated brand identity, performance marketing, social media content strategy and end-to-end event experience design.
The Inclusive Careers Fair featured a refreshed visual identity and expanded programming designed to connect communities through dialogue and action. Highlights included Inclusive Mentoring Circle, offering one-on-one career guidance from mentors from different industries and job functions; Panel Conversations spotlighting authentic stories on diversity, leadership, allyship and inclusive hiring practices; and Level Up Workshops equipping attendees with career-readiness and self-advocacy skills.
Each year, over 30 corporate sponsors and exhibitors across diverse industries were onboarded as inclusive employers participating in Inclusive Careers Fair. We engaged with career offices at Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to reach out to emerging talent, and worked alongside social enterprises and non-profit groups participating in our Community Booths to raise awareness about their important work.
Accessibility remained central to the experience, with on-site SgSL interpreters, audio-described tours, calm booths, and inclusive venue design. Inclusive Careers Fair reaffirmed its role as an important and viable platform for both jobseekers and employers to connect. The success of this fair underscores our continued commitment to designing inclusive, human-centred experiences that move the conversation forward and turn advocacy into action.
